We are extremely excited to announce we received the BEST Life Grant together with our partner Caribbean Cetacean Society (CCS) to continue the work on the protection of whales and dolphins in the Dutch Caribbean Waters.

The project is called: Harmonization of Cetacean Management in the ABC islands toward new sanctuaries and crossboundary regulations for crossboundary endangered species (phase 1).

The goal of this project is to continue researching and collecting critical data on the status of the species present around the ABC islands, train local actors, generate awareness within the island communities and support the government of Curacao towards their ambitions to better protect their waters.
